Job Description
We are seeking Proactive Male Support Workers with a Passion for Fishing and Nature
We are looking for male workers who can provide person-centered support to an Indigenous man in his 40s living in the Woody Point community. The role involves helping him maintain his home, access his community, and connect with his culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities for community engagement and social interaction.
• Assist in building daily living skills.
• Provide direct support with household cleaning, meal preparation, and daily tasks.
Requirements:
• Dedication to providing consistent and quality care.
• Availability to work on a 38 hour week rotational roster (shift hours will vary based on the client's needs).

Certifications
- Age and License:
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Background Checks:
- Hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Certifications:
- Possess a First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Education:
- While not mandatory, having a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is highly recommended.
- An understanding of working with Indigenous people
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills are invaluable in this role.

Hours may vary based on roster
